Our Classes

If you’re new to the workout world, it may never occur to you that exercising is something you will look forward to. During the first few weeks of exercise, your body and mind may rebel against your new routine and you may wonder if you’ll ever get the hang of it.

At Fit in 50, we offer 50 minute long classes that will help you achieve your fitness goals. We offer a variety of classes where each day is a new day, a new experience. No two classes are the same, but everyone will leave you in a better shape and a more positive mindset than when you came in.

Fitness has never been so much fun!

You will always feel energized and challenged and you will be surprised when you find yourself actually looking forward to your next workout time. Our classes are customized to fit customers from all age groups and from every fitness level. Whether you are a beginner or are a long-term committed workout enthusiast, you will find the right fit for you at Fit in 50.

We offer a variety of classes that includes a mix between high-intensity interval training (HIIT), CrossFit, cardio, weight training, strength training, core training, treadmill, and biking. Each class is a full-body workout with special emphasis (about 40% of the class time) on one muscle group. So every day you have your full body training while alternating the focus on different muscle groups each time. For instance, one day we emphasize core muscle training while the next day we emphasize upper body muscle training and so on.

Every Fit in 50 class has two chunks of cardiovascular training using both Assault Bikes and Treadmills. HIIT-based workouts are designed to increase your workout intensity and elevate your heart rate. Thus, increasing your metabolic rate and your body’s fat-burning capacity. More importantly, HIIT-based workouts have been shown to have the best after-burn effect. In other words, your body keeps burning fat for a while after you finish your training.  What’s better than burning calories while sitting on the couch after you are back from the gym!

Our strength training combines different elements such as dumbbells, loops, bands, battle ropes, and benches to challenge your muscles to the highest safest level possible. We combine functional movement patterns (our daily activity movements) such as squat, bend, core, push and pull with cross-training in order to maximize muscle strength gain.

Core training benefits almost everybody. It improves functional fitness; reduces the risk for various health problems such as low back pain, ruptured disk, and neck pain; and improves athletic performance. Most people do not realize the importance of strengthening their core muscles and are inclined to overlook them. At Fit in 50, we educate our members that all-powerful movements are initiated in the core of the body. Having a strong core enables strong arm and leg movements.

Last but not least, if you really want to get serious about getting specific results, our personal and group training services are among the best in the city.

Our experienced coaches develop fun (yes, fun!) personalized fitness plans that combine exercise and a healthy diet to help you nail your fitness goals. As they say, “you can’t out-exercise a bad diet”. In other words, a combination of exercise and healthy nutrition is essential for losing fat, building muscle, and increasing overall body strength. Our coaches are always there to guide you during your workout telling you when to push harder and when to stop. They will keep you challenged and engaged with expert eyes, focusing on your short and long-term fitness goals while taking care of you to prevent you from overworking or injuring yourself.
At Fit in 50, we also have the option of personal group training.

So if you want to get sweaty with your best friend in a team environment in order to motivate each other, you can sign up for our 30 or 45 or 60 minutes group training classes.
